1. Information We Collect

All Bible App collects and stores the following information:

  • Local Data: Bible data, user notes, bookmarks, topic classifications
  • Settings: App preferences, selected translations, theme settings
  • AI API Keys: API keys for AI chat functionality (encrypted storage)

Important: All data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to external servers.

2. Microphone Permission (RECORD_AUDIO)

All Bible App requests microphone permission to provide voice search functionality:

  • Purpose: To enable users to search for Bible books, chapters, and verses using voice commands through Speech-to-Text (STT) conversion
  • Data Processing: Voice data is processed only by the device's STT engine and is not stored or recorded by the app
  • Third-Party Sharing: Voice data is not transmitted to external servers or shared with third parties
  • User Control: Voice search is optional and can be avoided if users prefer not to use it

Microphone permission is used exclusively for voice search functionality and is only activated when users tap the voice search button.

3. How We Use Information

Collected information is used only for the following purposes:

  • Providing app functionality (Bible reading, note taking, search, etc.)
  • Providing voice search functionality (converting speech to text for Bible search)
  • Saving and restoring user settings
  • Providing AI chat functionality (communication with selected AI providers)

4. AI Chat and Third-Party Services

When using the AI chat feature, your questions are sent to the selected AI provider:

5. Data Security

All Bible App takes the following measures to protect user data:

  • API keys are encrypted using Flutter Secure Storage
  • All data is stored in local SQLite database
  • No data transmission to external servers (except AI chat)
  • Voice data is not stored or recorded and is immediately discarded after STT processing

6. User Rights

Users have the following rights:

  • Data Deletion: All data can be deleted from app settings
  • App Removal: Deleting the app automatically removes all local data
  • API Key Management: API keys can be changed or deleted at any time
  • Permission Management: Microphone permission can be revoked at any time from device settings

7. Children's Privacy

All Bible App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes

This privacy policy may be updated as needed. We will notify users of significant changes through in-app announcements.
